    Streetart Birds is te vinden in de Fatimastraat in Tilburg en is ontworpen en gerealiseerd door Joep van Gassel in 2018.

    In 2018 ging van Gassel naar Basisschool Koningshaven aan de Fatimastraat om samen met toemalige leerlingen een muurschildering te ontwerpen. Uitgangspunten waren onder andere samenzijn, verbinding en het multiculturele karakter van de school.

    De kleurrijke schildering die nu te vinden is op een muur van de school toont verschillende vogels en is bijna zeven meter hoog.

    Over kunstenaar Joep van Gassel

    Kunstenaar Joep van Gassel is een urban artist. Hij maakt kunst in de openbare ruimte. Hij maakt ook illustraties, grafische ontwerpen en geeft daarbij ook workshops over bijvoorbeeld graffiti. Hij komt uit een creatief gezin, hij is de vierde generatie die van zijn artistieke passie zijn beroep heeft gemaakt. Joep van Gassel heeft gestudeerd aan de Academie voor kunst en vormgeving in Breda.
