    Beeld De Jachthoornblazer is gemaakt door Daan Wildschut en staat voor de ingang van Basisschool St. Hubertus in Tilburg. Het werk van Wildschut is gerealiseerd in 1967. Het Beeld wat Wildschut heeft gecreëerd is een ingetogen beeld met diverse flonkerende goudkleurige mozaïek accenten op de jachthoorn en het zadel.

    Over Daan Wildschut

    Kunstenaar Daniel Petrus (Daan) Wildschut geboren in Grave op 8 augustus in 1913 en overleden in Bunde op 21 maart in 1995 was een Nederlandse kunstenaar. Wildschut is voornamelijk bekend van zijn glas-in-loodramen en mozaïeken, maar hij was daarnaast ook schilder, beeldhouwer en schrijver. Wildschut studeerde aan de Koninklijke Academie voor Kunst en Vormgeving in 's-Hertogenbosch en daarna aan de Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten te Antwerpen. Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog hadden hij en collega-kunstenaar Charles Eyck hun ateliers in het Bonnefantenklooster te Maastricht.
