    Beeld Koningin Beatrix is te vinden in het Cobbenhagen Building in Tilburg en is gemaakt door Zuster Jesualda Kwanten in 1986.

    De universiteit van Tilburg beschikt over een beeld van koningin Beatrix, onder meer vanwege de goede verhouding van de instelling met het koningshuis. Zo werd het eerste gebouw op de campus in 1962 geopend door toenmalig koningin Juliana. De centrale ingang van het Cobbenhagengebouw wordt vaak de koninginneningang genoemd. De verbondenheid is terug te voeren op de aanwezigheid van koning Willem II, die in Tilburg een buitenverblijf had en het paleis liet bouwen, waarin zich nu een deel van het stadhuis bevindt.

    Over Zuster Jesualda Kwanten

    Zuster Jesualda Kwanten is geboren op 5 september 1901 in Gendt en overleed op 26 december 2001 in Tilburg.  Ze was een Nederlands beeldhouwster, illustratrice, etser, tekenares en lithograaf. Ze had de akte MO tekenen gehaald aan het Instituut Opleiding tot Tekenleraren in Amsterdam. Vervolgens gaf ze teken- en kunstgeschiedenisles op de Pius Middelbare Meisjesschool in Amsterdam. Ze begon op ruim 60-jarige leeftijd aan de opleiding Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.
