Monument van de week: ‘Het Holocaustmonument Tilburg’

Het Holocaustmonument kan je vinden in het vrijheidspark in Tilburg en is van de hand van Tine van de Weyer en is in 2020 geplaatst in het park.

Monument van de week: ‘Plaquette Venster naar het verleden Spiegel naar Het heden (vrijheidspark)’

De plaquette ‘Venster naar het verleden Spiegel naar Het heden’ is gemaakt door Mieke Engering in 2018. Op het kunstwerk is een vliegtuig afgebeeld, omgeven door glasscherven. Het monument staat voor het bombardement op de Noordstraat van 10 mei 1940.

Monument van de week: ‘Beeld / Monument 15th Scottish Division’

Het oorlogsmonument ‘15th Scottish Division’ is gemaakt door Frans Broers in 1989. Het monument bevindt zich in het Vrijheidspark in Tilburg. Het is een bronzen beeld van een Schotse doedelzakspeler. Het staat op een granieten sokkel waarop een afbeelding van een heraldische leeuw is weergegeven.
