Monument van de week: ‘Mariabeeld – Boomstraat Tilburg’

Het Mariabeeld van de hand van Jacques Maris is te vinden in de Boomstraat in Tilburg en is in 1941 geplaatst.

Kunstwerk van de week: ‘Mariabeeld Watertorenstraat’

Het ‘Mariabeeld Watertorenstraat’ is van Georges Petit in 1940. Het religieuze stenen beeld bevindt zich in Tilburg Oud-Zuid in de wijk de Noordhoek. Maria staat op een stenen voetstuk en draagt kindje Jezus in haar arm. Boven het beeld is een afdakje.

Monument van de week: ‘Monument Obs. De Vuurvogel’

Het monument ‘De Vuurvogel’ is gemaakt door Dhr. P. de Vries in 1997. Het kunstwerk is ter herinnering aan achttien Joodse oud leerlingen van de Openbare lagere school.
