Kunstwerk van de week: ‘Kunstwerk Cercle’

Het kunstwerk Cercle is ontworpen door Dirk Rutten en Jesse Visser in 2007. De lichtmasten bevinden zich in het centrum van Tilburg. Het ontwerp van Dirk en Jesse werden uitgevoerd door Firma Schréder.

Deze maatregelen gaan eind maart gelden op de Cityring

Vanaf eind maart gaan de Heuvelring, Paleisring, Stadhuisplein, Schouwburgring en Noordhoekring terug naar één rijstrook. Ook mag je er dan nog maar dertig kilometer per uur rijden. Nu is de toegestane snelheid nog 50 km per uur. Het is vanaf dan ook niet meer mogelijk om vanaf de Paleisring linksaf te slaan naar de Bisschop Zwijsenstraat. Deze wordt als het ware losgeknipt van de Cityring. Politie, ambulances, taxi’s en bussen mogen dat wel.
